Reply To SGX-ST Query On the Annual Report For The Financial Year Ended 31 December 2004
The Board of Directors of Yongnam Holdings Limited (the "Company") wishes to provide the following information in response to the query received from SGX-ST on 14 April 2005 with regards to the Company's Annual Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2004:-
SGX's queries:-
(a) We refer to page 26 and 27 of the Annual Report. Rule 704(5) of the Listing Manual states that an issuer must immediately announce any qualification or emphasis of matter by the auditors on the financial statements/ Please also include in the announcement Note 2(a) of the financial statements which the auditors made reference to.
(b) We also note that the Company has not announced the Notice of AGM via SGXNET. Please announce accordingly.
Company's reply:-
(a) The Auditors' Report together with Note 2(a) of the Financial Statements is attached below.
(b) The Notice of AGM of the Company was announced by the Company on 12 April 2005, Announcement No. 00047.
